This year's Land & Light Exhibition has been juried by the esteemed Gloucester painter Tom Nicholas, N.A.  The first Alden Bryan Medal will be presented to the Best in Show at the Awards Reception.

"I was very impressed with the quality and standard of this exhibition.  I wish to congratulate the Board and all artist members.

Having been involved with competitive art exhibitions for many years, there is quite a difference between juried and non-juried shows.  The competitive aspect makes artists more conscientious and for young artists, it is important for their development and recognition."
