OBJECTS OF DESIRE: STILL LIFE PAINTINGS, explores the concept of the artist's table, with a broad range of approaches to still life painting, and an equally wide inventory of objects that have caught the attention of the artists.    This exhibition features work by Susan Abbott of Marshfield, VT, with a selection of watercolors, oils and acrylic paintings; oil paintings by Julie Y. Baker Albright of Essex, VT, and Tom Nicholas, N.A., of Rockport, MA; and pastels by Jody dePew McLeane of Eagle River, WI and Lucy Petrie, PSA of Vergennes, VT.    Additional works are also included by Vermont artists Annelein Beukenkamp, Corliss Blakely, Marcie Vallette, Karen Winslow, and the late Mary Bryan and Ruth Mould.    From Albright's arrangements of vessels and flowers to Abbott's tabletops, overflowing with everyday objects, these paintings of desired objects range from the formal to the immediate, and from the classical to the contemporary.
