Tuesday – Thursday, June 10 - 12, 2008

Master Vermont landscape painter Eric Tobin will present a three day workshop entitled Painting with Eric.  The workshop will include two plein air painting sessions per day, and will culminate in an evening session on the third day, discussing the artwork in progress, and the experience of painting in plein air. 

The painting locations, selected by Tobin, will change each day, with a morning session and an afternoon session at each place.  Tobin will paint along side the participants, offering commentary during each session. 

Eric Tobin is widely considered among the most prolific and definitive plein air painters in New England today.  He brings to this workshop the passion and expertise of his painting, combined with the familiarity of a native son toward his homeland.  Tobin knows the best places to paint in Northern Vermont, and he will share with the participants, his experience of painting in Vermont, and painting with other master painters.

Artists in any medium are welcome, though Eric’s expertise is in the field of painting with oils.  Artists at any stage of their development are welcome, though all participants should expect to start at least three paintings during the workshop.

Participants are responsible for their own art materials and their own meals and accommodations.  A light meal will be provided on the evening of June 12.

A list of suggested materials in oil medium will be provided upon receipt of your registration, as well as a list of recommended local accommodations.

A more specific schedule will also be sent in response to your registration. 

Fee:  $325 for three days.  Full payment expected with registration.  Attendance is limited to 10 participants, so please register early.  Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Cancellation policy:  In the event you need to cancel your registration, please do so before May 30, 2008.  Your registration fee will be refunded, minus $25 for handling expenses.  Refunds will not be made after Friday, May 30.
