2006 Young Artists' Exhibition
Dec. 3 through Dec. 17, 2006

Bryan Memorial Gallery presents its annual YOUNG ARTISTS' EXHIBITION from December 3 - 16, 2006.  Featured are over 125 pieces of student art work from Mt. Mansfield Union High School, BFA Fairfax High School and Pine Ridge School.  The exhibit opens with a reception in honor of the students on Sunday, December 3, from 2 - 4 PM, to which the public is invited.

Artwork by three students will be awarded prizes for Best in Show, Runner-Up and Honorable Mention, judged by a panel of professional artists.  The award winners will be announced at the opening reception.

Artist mediums represented in the exhibit include work in acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, mixed media, pastel, photography, ceramic, and collage.  Art teachers who organized the respective school's participation were Carrie Diehl of Pine Ridge School, Dodi Gomez of Mt. Mansfield Union High school, and Deb Walford of BFA Fairfax High School.  Jim Gallugi, Assistant Director of Bryan Memorial Gallery, managed and installed the exhibition.
